Glopal’s Five Takeaways from GELF NYC ’22

Thanks as well to Glopal’s Daniel Porter for a nice recap of the event – and five takeaways from the GELF NYC ’22 program. GELF co-founder Jim Okamura hosted long-time GELF collaborator Steve Hawco and Glopal’s Benjamin Cohen for GELF’s Global Omnichannel Showcase: The Shift to Cross-border 2.0 – Learnings from the Biggest Luxury Brands.

Steve and Ben weighed in on why getting closer to the global customer has compelled many brands to rethink how they can drive total sales in a region. They touched on how global omnichannel is becoming less complex as more brands leverage pandemic-driven investments in omnichannel innovation to drive global growth. Ben shared case studies on the many luxury brands Glopal works with ranging from LMVH and Dior to Printemps and discussed how global ecommerce leaders are leveraging other international sales channels to optimize marketing investments and localized inventory.
